enter the hallowed portals of America's seat of power.According to New York
Daily News, producers of the FOX series "The Simple Life" are trying to line
up a job for Hilton and Nicole Richie as congressional interns to be filmed
for the show's third season."I asked the Speaker about it, and he didn't think it was such a good idea," The Capitol Hill newspaper Roll Call quoted John Feehery, a spokesman for Republican House Speaker Dennis Hastert as saying.
A spokesman for Republican Sen. Rick Santorum said that he "has a policy of hiring only native Pennsylvanians to intern". (ANI)
