Paris Hilton is getting serious about her life. Keen to change her image from the girl who once boasted 'I never realised people work for their money', Hilton recently said she would like her parents to be proud of her achievements.
According to The Mirror, Hilton's public image went from decadent parasite to America's sweetheart when she appeared in the US reality show The Simple Life with fellow rich girl Nicole Richie, the daughter of pop star, Lionel.
Rumours have also been circulating that the Backstreet Boys' Nick Carter and Paris are about to wed. Paris said, 'It just feels so right when we're together. We have been inseparable since we started dating and that's the way we like it.' "
